Lilla Jenni var till sjukhuset igar. She got her finger kut buy a kitchen knife. Her left indexfinger, right over where it bends. I didn't know what to do, and nobody could help me at home. So a kitchentowel wrapped around my finger I tried to change from my nightgown to some clothes, and putting on a pair of jeans with only one hand is not that easy I can tell you! All dressed up I visited our neighbours, cause as it happend's I know that one of them are a taxi driver. He was really kind! He called the nearest clinic to check that they could deal with cuts, and he phoned me a cab, cause unforunately he was just on his way to drive someone else. So this is the first time I've visited a hospital here in UK. The staff were really nice, and everything was for free! I got to wear an ugly bandaid now for 10 days, and keep my finger dry, but at least I didn't lose my finger. :)
Anyway, I'm gonna fly home tomorrow, so one hurting finger doesn't change my happy mood that much!

Me and Jenny went out just walking around in stores yesterday, as mentioned. Really nice to do nothing while doing something with a friend. To get out of the house, where I've been sitting cosyli in the sofa with loads of blankets, a box of tissues and loads of hot tea with honey. Cause I have had the flu the 3 days I've been off, and today, i'm finally getting rid of it, which is quite funny cause today I'm heading back to work.
Anyway walking down the streets we came to one street with really nice Christmas decorations. I had to play a bit of a tuorist and take a picture.   MY friend Jenny didn't find them as qute as I did though. They kind of gave her a fright...

I was jsut walking around with my friend in stores today. We went into Waterstones and there I saw it. I have read all her books, and waiting for her to write something new for me to read, and now she has done it! I just can't take my eyes off the books that Marian Keyes writes. So her new book This Charming Man is a book I just have to have in my collection.

I went to Starbucks for a coffee with a friends, Lindsay from the hostel a few days ago. The had the most heavenly latte ever, a toffee nut latte with cream on top. It was delicious! So all cosy in the puffy armchairs we chatted about this and that. I'm almost sertain that the pople sitting at the table next to us had something interesting to litsen to if they run out of subjects to talk about.


It felt so good to do something, cause the day before I spent home doing nothing. I was going insane! I can't stand doing nothing, I have to be on the go you know. I did polish my nails though. Did some fancy nail art. Can't stop staring at them. Maybe a bit egosentric, but who cares, I did a damn good job.
