Mr Miss Match

I took the the bus yesterday, and it did stop at my bus stop. Apparently it was only the bus stop towards the city that wasn't in use yesterday (neither today, had to catch the tube instead). I don't complain as long as I don't have to walk long parts in the midle of the night.

Today at the tube I saw the funniest man ever. He looked like he was around 40 years old, and now I'm gonna try to describe him from top to toe. So lets start with his hair, his greasy, darkblond sort of a back-slick-thing. He wore huge black sunglases. It's the end of October?!?! To be fair it was sunny outside today, but still he was sitting in the train with sunglases reading a news paiper. Now we are getting to the really hillarious part of his "style". He was wearing a babypink shirt with white stripes on it, over it he wore a moss green jacket with small different colored sqares on it. To miss match the whole outfit he wore plum red velvet pair of trousers. And it's getting better. On his feet he wore diamond paterned socks in the colors black, pink, orange, yellow and baby blue. His shoes might have been the most normal part of the whole outfit, black neat really shiny shoes. On top of it all in his hand he had a wooden stick, about 40 cm long.
I know it's halloween and all, but I promise, this wasn't an halloween outfit, and if it was, It was the worst one I've ever seen, and trust me I've seen some really hidious ones...

When I got of the tube and was texting my brother a random girl came to me and started with the frase you so often hear here in London "I know this is a bit weird, but..." and suprise suprise, she didn't ask for money? Instead she wanted something much more special, a photo of me with my earphones on.

Jenni Laabopti

Miss Laabopti got mail yesterday. I have never ever seen my name been miss spelled that badly. Hillarious, isn't it? Anyway, now I got my itnerview to get my national insurance number and today I got my bank account, lucky me at least they spelled my name right.
Now I'm at the hostel again, and I'm goin to work soon. Start at 7 and I should be done by 4 am. Bad news is that the bus stop outside my house isn't in use for a couple of days so I don't know how to get home tonight. But I usually find my way around anyway. Now, let's have some dinner.

London Zoo

This girl went to the London zoo yesterday. So many really nice animals and stuff there! (Duh? It's a zoo, right?) Anyway, enjoy some of my pics!

When finnished with the zoo I went to the hostel. I decided to walk, cause it's not that far away. I must say it was a bad decicion cause it started haling/snowing/pouring down and I got all wet before I got there. But for those who never ever seen snow in their life (like Michelle in the picture bellow) this was a very special day.

Boumdjija!

Working was so fun! I worked for 11 hours (we did an extra hour because of changing time), and my feet hurt like hell when I got back home, but it was so worth it. I felt a bit akward in the beginning, but after a while the music just pumped the blood in my veins and I got in the rythm of making all the drinks.
Now I'm free until thursday, and then I'll work the rest of the week.
Today I've been trying to get a national insurance number and a english bank account, damn it's difficult. So much paper work and stuff.

Vanessa (one of my housemates) learned me a lot of Portugese yesterday. Really good and useful sentences like "Chupa minha buceta" or "Vose tein a holla grandje", (might be spelling it wrong). =)

Now heading back home!

Clubing in trainers...

Yesterday I went out with my friend Jenny to help her search for a job. We walked around Soho, Leicester square and Covent garden. When we pretty much done them all a group of guys in suits bumped into us and asked us to follow them for a drink. Which we offcorse did. All of them were so funny, I really enjoyed myself. After 2 glases of white wine and one tequila shot the guys were h eading back home, but Jenny and me just started. Neither of uss were dressed to go out clubbing, but you know the nights you accidentally end up partying usually are the best, so we gave it a chance anyway. So back to Leicester square to the club Sound. The evening was awesome...
When I came home some of my flatmates were in the kitchen (and I'm talking 4:30 am). It's nice to live with people who also work late so you never come home to a quite house.
Today will be my first day at 101. Wish me good luck!

To Lex: I'm coming hoem for Christmas, I'll by the tickets as soon as I can afford it. We so gonna have to go out all of us girls!!! Miss ya!

Jobs for me!

It was really fun to work yesterday. And the tips in that place, oh my... I could take that job just for the tips u know. But while I was working they called me from another place for an interview, which I had today. I just came from that interview, and I got the job, I'm starting tomorrow at 5 pm.
Now to the pros and cons. The Grape street wine bar is more like a waitress job and the 101 is bartending. I came here to do bartending, so here 101 get's one point. But on the other hand just the tips on that winebar was kind of half of what I would earn on 101. So I would probably make more money there, one point to Grape street wine bar.
But then there is a lovely solution to the whole thing. Full time on 101 would be 4 days a week and I supose I wouldn't start earlier than 6 pm, and it would probably be mostly weekends. The wine bar on the other hand is closed at weekends and there are morning and evening shifts there. So with a good schedule I could do both. =) I'm used to work hard, and I've had two jobs at the same time back home, so why not.
Btw, they haven't called me yet from the wine bar (which the manager said he would do today). SO this might not be an i ssue at all. Anyway, I'm doing really good here, and I love it!

First day at work...

The last days I've been handing over cvs to places where I'd like to work. Yesterday I got an jobinterview at Grape street wine bar. It's a smaller restaurant/bar with a really cosy atmosphere. Today is my first day there, and if I do the job good I might get it. I really hope they like me!!! If I get it, I can work at two places, cause I'll either do morning shifts or evening and I'm free on weekends, which is perfect for having a second job as a bartender in some nightclub.
Tomorrow, in case I'm not working or having any interviews, I'm gonna buy some stuff for my room and do some cleaning.
Btw I went shoping yesterday, and I did some really good bargains. The midseason sale started this week. I won't tell u what I bought though, cause I did some christmas shopping too. And I bought an corsette. It's perfect, and the price for it was just unbelieveable.

For all you people reading and wiriting comments on my blog, I really love that! I miss u all guys!

Me my class mates!

I haven't told u much bout the night we went out to cellebrate our exams in bartending. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. As u will notice I stoped taking pictures quite early...

I'm gonna miss them all. This is the last group photo of uss before everybody went to different bras and clubs.

Purple Cup Cake

Saturday. Lovely saturday. I haven't had that much fun in ages! Me and Nina started the day with a bit of shoping therapy. I bought the best dress ever!!!! And two really beautiful handbags. Love at first sight you know! With a new dress and all it's really hard to not get in a party mood. We decided to go out cIubing.

I really enjoyed the evening. Me and Nina went to a club called Sound. I danced the whole night drinking Amaretto sours and Jack & Cokes. We came home at 3.30 or something and even though I kind of felt like stayin gup all night and waiting until Nina had to catch the train to the Airport I fell a sleep right away when I closed my eyes to just rest a bit in my bed.
The next day felt a bit sad, leaving all my new friends and the Hostel. Still it was nice to move to a house where I would have an own room and just share the big kitchen with 5 other people. Only met 4 of them, but I all ready like em. We ate an Portugise dinner, some kind of stew made of beans and bacon with s ome rice and some meat. Considering that I haven't had a real home made dinner since the Canadian thanks giving, it was superb!
Going to sleep alone in a own bed, in a single room, with a stomach full of nice food was like heaven. But I still miss the hostel, guess where I am right now writing an entry. At the hostel of corse....

Final Exam

I just finnished the practical test and the free pouring. I got to make one Long island ice tea, one Ginn Fizz and one Caipirinha. I was so nervous that my head just started to doubt everything I did, but my body kept on doing it anyway. In other words, I had no idea of what I actually was doing. Lucky for me my hands didn't litsen to the orders I was giving to them, I ended up with the points 10, 10 and 9,5 out of 10. =D The free pouring resluts well be given us later tonight when we all are supposed to meet up in Soho for dinner and few drinks.

Just one big family

I'm nervous. I'm so nervous... We are doing the practical test today, and the free puring too. It's almost two hours until I'm doing my part. Waiting is pure pain.  I just want to get it over and done with. These four weeks has jsut passed by so fast and it feels strange to move out from the hostel and not living with all my classmates in our small fancy red rooms. Lately, the room I'm in, has started to feel so much smaller due to all the people sleeping there. We aren't 7 people anymore, I'd rather say we nowadays are 9 persons in there, in a 8 bed dormitory using only 7 beds. I even woke up in the midle of the night the other day from something one of the couples thought was quite sex..

Herr Kuk

Today It's Bellas birthday. She turnes 19. CONGRATULATIONS! Anyway, I've got some bigger news.... Do u all remember Syster Mutta? Well she's found a mate now. Herr Kuk:

ps. I hope they make a good couple!

Sorry!

Sry for the last entry, not much photos there either... I really hate the internet cafes here. In the midle of my typing and all, I just couldn't download more photos to my entry. Anyway, gonna eat some candaian thanks giving dinner soon! I'm a bit excited, cause never had a thanksgivin before! Justs wanted to explain why so few photos. Take care u all!

Partypics

I'm at a internetcafe right now, so I'm gonna publish some partypics! Yippie! These are from the girls night out we had a week ago or something. We went to the Garden Club in Covent Garden. So much fun!

Then I've got the fabulous party pictures from Sarahs birthday! That evening was something special.... ;)

-Yes, I'm posing and yes, it is in a toilet I'm sitting. Don't we just love cameras? =D

Trip to Windsor

Back Home again... So I've basically spent the whole day in Windsor with this lovely family I know from back home. They got a summer cottage close to ours so that's the way I met them.
We barbequed and I sort of played around with the kids. Their youngest is soooo cute! He is talking all the time and smiling too! I went out on a walk with them after lunch, along the river (they actually live by the river, soooo beautiful!). I really enjoyed spending some time with them. I didn't get home before 11 pm. Didn't like the underground that time of the day. Not that it's really nice any other time of the day either.

I forgot to tell you about one more thing that happened yesterday. My friend chatted up two guys from Italy, she ended up getting invited for an italian home made dinner, and she was asked to take "your friend" with her. In other words that's me. I hope they were too drunk to remember the whole thing. Even though I like italian cousine, I don't really like the idea of eating at some random guys place.

Now, movie time!

Weirdest Night Ever

I didn't think about going out yesterday, but me and one of my friends here went anyway. We had the weirdest night ever. Me personally had a big ego-boost evening. We walked down to Soho and tried to find a nice club or bar to drink a few drinks and for my friend to get a job and handing over her cvs. On or way there my friend bumped into a the guy who totally broke her heart. You know everyone got one. The one you never can get over entierly. And to just accidentally meet the one special guy in a big city like this, let's just say the chances aren't that big... After the polite small conversation they had she was wuite chocked and tears started to run down her face. I dried her tears as good as I could to not ruin her make-up.

Suddenly a magician came up to us and started to pull out cards from my friends hair and under my dress. He made uss both laugh after a few mintues of entertaining. He even gave uss his cards! He totally made our evening better.
Finally we got kind of promoted to a club called Empire. Both of uss got a free drink. Here comes the funny part. The whole casino/bar/restaurant was so classy and looked kind of posh, but the bartender he was shit at what he was doing. I jsut had to stop the urge telling him how to do it right. He even got the ingrediens mixed up and didn't hear our orders right! Later we got a ice cold blue creamy hot shot from the bartender. The free drinks didn't end up there, a guy found me the most beautiful woman in the whole bar, and he gave me a second one of the French Martini I was zippin at (which btw will from now on be my signature drink, it's so delicious). I usually don't like people to pay stuff for me, it feels kind of weird...

On our way home we got some company, then out of nowhere a guy that passed uss grabbed my bum. I looked quite shocked and my friend asked what the matter was. When the guy that was walking with  us found out about it he turned around and went for the guy, started to argue with him, suddenly there was like 10 guys arguing with the guy who grabbed my ass, and they commanded him to apollogise, which he did, then all the guys asked me if the apollogie was accepted and after me saying "yes, apollogie accepted" the whole fuzz was over. The hero of the night whished uss a good evening and kissed uss on the cheek and left.

Well that's almost the whole storry... Not much more to tell. =) Anyway I had a blast!
Now I'm all dressed up and ready for Windsor! (a bit hung over though!)

Moving into a house...

I went to an internetcafe a few days ago, and tried to write an entry and oublish some pictures, but it just didn't wanna co-operate with me! So I gave up after 45 minutes, of rewriting the whole shit twice. Then yesterday I got fever and stayed home mostly in my bed all day. It got damn boring after a while. Anyway, I had loads of party pics to put here, but as I'm writing from my hostel I can't connect my camera to the computer =/

Got some good news though! I found a spareroom in a house close to London Bridge!!! So I'll be moving in the end of next week. It's a really beautiful house. with four bedrooms, one toilet and one bathroom, one living room and a kitchen. I'll be living on the second floor.

Tomorrow I'm going to Windsor and meet a family that owns a summercottage close to ours. I've been to windsor when I was younger to babysit their kid. I really loved that! I'm gonna have a look at the Windsor Castle too. Quite a long time since I were there last time. Not that I'm that interested in history and stuff, but it was a beautiful castle.

Apart from that I'll be studying loads the whole weekend, our big tests are next week. I think I'll manage quite well. At least I hope so... =)

Updates...

I'm sitting at an internetcafe. Was just downloading somepictures from my camera to my entries, but then the battery of the camera died... So sry guys, I only downloaded a few for u to look at.

I had the best night ever last night! The manager of the hostel went to visit some friends or something, so I kind of got to sleep in one of his double beds (I'm really jelous, he is living there alone with two duble beds!). Anyway, that bed was like 10 times more comfortable than the bed I've been sleeping in. Sen sa kanske jag fick lite sallskap ocksa...

I haven't done much special this weekend. Same old Starbucks studying all day long you know. I did meet a girl from Aland yesterday though. It was really fuin to just hang out with somebody that isn't staying at the hostel. Starbucks again for a coffe, and then some shopping.

Tomorrow I'm going to party like hell, cause it's Sarah's birthday (one of the girls staying and working at the hostel). So we will be cellebrating that tomorrow!

Bow I'm going to start searching for some shareflats... Wish me good luck!

Enjoying London

Yesterday I needed some time off from all the people here at the hostel. I realized that I haven't really been just for myself for like 2 weeks. So after I came home and made some dinner I went out walking a bit. Regen'ts park was my first stop. I met a new friend there. A squirel came to say hello to me. He stoped right in front of my feet and then he reached up a bit and aksed me if I had anything for him to eat. To  bad I didn't bring anything, cause as cute as he was he really deserved a treat or two.
When It started to get a bit darker I headed for oxfordstreet. It felt so good just to walk around alone in stores. I found some really nice clothes (really expencive too), lucky me I didn't bring more than 3 pounds with me, which I saved for a latte at starbucks before walking back to the hostel. It wasn't even that crowded, I enjoyed it a lot.
Just three hours time with myself, and I felt like a whole new person. The bad mood I had been in the whole day just dissapeared. =)

Today it's Friday. What to do what to do... I'll probably go out clubing or just sit in a bar and take a few glasses of wine with my friends, but right now I must get to school!
